Betty Boop is an animated cartoon character that

 appeared in the Talkcartoon and Betty Boop series of

 films produced by Max Fleischer and released by

Paramount Pictures. With her overt/cutsie sexuality, Betty

 was a hit with theater-goers. Despite having been toned

 down in the mid-1930s where she was forced to wear

 longer skirts and become a single Mom, Betty Boop

 remains popular today for this portrayal of cutsie

 sexuality.

There has always been something about her, besides her

 name that I was able to associate with. I think the free

 spirit and fun loving part of her spoke to me. I enjoy

 selling some of her collectibles as a result.
